How many Dads over 60 do you know that are hiking up Killington to get their turns in? Six months after finishing his lyme disease meds, my Dad was lugging his backpack full of alpine boots, like 8 granola bars & too many pairs of gloves. My Dad is awesome :)

After we got his pack all situated (as in, I had to relocate the pack weight from his shoulders to his hip belt), we were cruising up the mountain...

...except that the dogs kept finding all kinds of things to sniff, smell, roll in...

taking a granola bar break at the top of the Glades after we skied Rime...
...and another granola bar break as we said farewell to the Peak Lodge before we skied the Downdraft Headwall...

The snow on Cascade was like butter! All of yesterday's sticky new snow was gone and we could just play :)

...but then it all came to an end. literally.

Thanks, Dad, for an awesome Daddy-Daughter ski day!

See you in the Woods,
FemaleSkiBum :)
