Whew, yesterday was a busy day. Vespi and I started out with some one man laps on Colton Pond, which was wicked windy - in both directions!

But I did have to get rid of Vespi for a lap, because she was all over the stern. Back & Forth, making it a million times more difficult to turn the canoe. Oh yeah - and we saw a family of five turtles sunning on a log in the big cove. Super cool. Except that the turtles were faster than me getting out my camera :( as they dove into the water.

After a little lunch break with the man, it was off the the Canyon Area, where V and I hiked up Big Dipper to get to Double Dipper. There are more rocks so it is easier to get a good foothold with your ski boots on :)

Then we got one nice, long & continuous stretch down the Dipper. Well, except for that one section about one third of the way down.

But that's what makes it an adventure, right?

See you in the Woods,
